Tony Mancus is a poet, writer, and instructional designer whose work moves through the charged space between the ordinary and the uncanny, where family history, memory, place, and the strange pressures of contemporary American life meet. He is the author of Same After Life and All the Ordinariness, and his poems and prose often turn toward inheritance, love, grief, the psychic life of work, and the odd, luminous details that make a life feel fully lived.

Alongside his literary work, he designs immersive learning experiences and simulations, bringing a creative, human-centered approach to storytelling across forms. His work is grounded in a belief that language can both sharpen our sense of the world and make room for its contradictions, intimacies, and absurdities.
